The 7th Huada School on QCD will be held in Central China Normal University (CCNU), Wuhan, China, during the week of June 4th (June 4-8), 2018.
The Huada QCD School is an annual school which aims to provide basic training in strong interaction physics for graduate students, postdocs and young researchers in the field of high-energy nuclear and particle physics. This year’s topic is centered on jet and related physics in relativistic nuclear collisions.
We have invited three speakers to give pedagogic lectures on jet-medium interaction and jet quenching in high-energy heavy-ion collisions:
Prof. Sangyong Jeon (McGill University)
Prof. Yen-Jie Lee (MIT)
Dr. Felix Ringer (LBNL)
There is no registration fee for attending the school. Food will be provided by the organizers. The participants are responsible for the expenses of their travel and local accommodation. The accommodation may be arranged by the local organizers (please make choice for your accommodation during the registration). International participants may apply for local financial support.
The total number of participants for the school is limited up to 60. Please register as soon as possible. It is recommended that the participants should have taken or are taking the quantum field theory course.
