Mini-workshop on “Quantum effects in atomic and particle physics”

Asia/Shanghai
Igor Ivanov (SYSU, School of Physics and Astronomy) , Pengming ZHANG (Sun Yat-sen University)
Description

Welcome to the Zhuhai mini-workshop on Quantum effects in atomic and particle physics!

This is a follow up event to the First Workshop on Vortex states in nuclear and particle physics, which was held in Zhuhai in April 2024 and during which several joint activities were initiated. The present mini-workshop is conceived as an meeting point for in-person discussions and further cooperation. This is also a great opportunity to present new results, especially by graduate students, on topics not necessarily related to vortex states.

The main scientific program includes several plenary sessions on December 18th and 19th, 2024, with talks in the morning and ample time in the afternoon for contacts, discussions, and collaboration. Interested participants are also welcome to stay for a longer period, from December 14th to 21st, to benefit the extended mini-workshop format to further promote individual collaborations.

Workshop Venue: Haiqin Bldg. No.2, Conference Room A457.
We recommend the participants to book accommodation at the Qingzhu hotel, within 10 min walk from the workshop venue.

There is no workshop fee.
