Joint BESIII-LHCb workshop in 2018

Asia/Shanghai
IHEP, Beijing

IHEP, Beijing

Description

Experimental study on the flavor physics has been in the era of high precision measurement, which guarantees a complementary way to test the standard model and search for the new physics. To meet this extreme challenge requires the global collaborations among several experiments. The BESIII and LHCb experiments are now the only two running projects, which are dedicated to study flavor physics. The Joint BESIII-LHCb workshop aims to enhance the interplay between the two experiments and to maximize their physics potentials.

The workshop will be held during February 8-9, 2018, at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Beijing, China.

Online registration: open until January 8, 2018. Last day postponed to January 15, 2018.

Workshop participants should register through the indico system.

Registration fee: The registration fee for each participant is ¥800 RMB. It can be paid at the registration desk upon arrival. The fee covers two lunches, one banquet dinner and the coffee breaks. The fee can only be paid in Chinese Yuan by cash. The fee for each accompany person (for the banquet dinner) is ¥300 RMB. Accommodations are not included in the registration fee and will have to be paid separately.

Venue IHEP main building (高能所主楼), Room B326. (See the location in the schematic map in the accommodation page)
