The CESNXS school will be split into two main parts; after introductory lectures on the 5th of November, participants will attends lectures on different uses and aspects of neutron and X-ray diffraction in the morning, and attend hands-on beamtime experiments in the afternoon. These hands-on experiments will be divided into four parallel streams, and applicants will be asked to select which experimental stream they’d like to attend during registration. The local organsiation committee will try to accommodate every attendee to their preferred stream, but will move some attendees to their second preference to avoid overcrowding if nesscary.
