Despite the exceptional success of the Standard Model (SM) of elementary particles and cosmology in describing the fundamental interactions in nature and the evolution of the Universe, a growing body of evidence over the past few decades suggests the existence of new physics beyond the SM. This evidence pertains to fundamental questions regarding the origin of electroweak scale, the generation of neutrino masses and matter-antimatter asymmetry, the nature of dark matter, the dynamics of inflation, etc. Several future collider projects, such as Higgs factory, 100 TeV hadron collider and Muon collider have been planned by the international high-energy physics community to explore the answer to these questions. At the same time, recent advancements in quantum information science, gravitational wave observations, and multi-messenger astronomy have further opened new avenues for exploring new physics. Interdisciplinary interactions that integrate insights and tools from various fields may be crucial for uncovering more clues.
This workshop aims to bring together experts from a wide range of research fields, including but not limited to the high-energy, high-intensity, and cosmic frontiers. Our goal is to facilitate the exchange of recent advancements and foster discussions on the pursuit of new physics.
It is supported by the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), the Center for Future High Energy Physics (CFHEP), the China Center for Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST), and the Center for High Energy Physics at Peking University (CHEP-PKU).
