Description

Research on jets in high-energy heavy-ion collisions has made significant advances on both theoretical and experimental fronts, progressively deepening our understanding of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) and its diverse properties. Recent theoretical and experimental studies suggest that exploring correlations between energetic jets and softer components of the medium can reveal a broader spectrum of phenomena and subtle medium effects, surpassing the traditional view of the QGP as simply a strongly interacting matter in local equilibrium.

This workshop aims to reveal a broader and more unified picture of jet-medium interactions and the underlying QGP properties by extensively examining jet–soft medium correlations across various momentum scales. By integrating novel theoretical frameworks and advanced experimental data, the workshop will foster discussions designed to identify overarching patterns and mechanisms, potentially leading to breakthroughs in our fundamental understanding of high-energy heavy-ion collision dynamics.

Additional workshop information, including the agenda, will be published soon.
