Description
After the discovery of the Higgs boson, the LHC has entered the exploratory phase. Improving our quantitative understanding of the Standard Model is essential in the coming year, as it could be the key to the discovery of new physics. Recent years have witnessed remarkable progress in making sophisticated predictions for QCD processes, driven both by the demand of experiment and the advances in theory. This school invites leading experts in the field to lecture on theory topics that are of fundamental importance for the success of the precision program at the LHC. Besides lectures, we will also host a small number of research talks to discuss the latest progress in the field.
