"The 7th Asian Triangle Heavy-Ion Conference (ATHIC 2018)" will be held at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) on November 3-6, 2018. Before ATHIC 2018, there will be a STAR regional meeting on October 31 -- November 2, 2018 and an internal meeting of 973 project about CBM in the afternoon of November 2, 2018.
The aim of the conference is to discuss experimental and theoretical developments in the heavy ion collisions and related topics, including QCD at high temperature, baryon-rich QCD matter, QGP in small systems, initial state physics and approach to thermal equilibrium, collective dynamics, correlations and fluctuations, jets and jet quenching, heavy flavor and quarkonium, electromagnetic probes, strongly coupled systems, new theoretical developments, future facilities and experiemnts. USTC is the university under the direct leadership of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). USTC is one of the top research universities in China. It is located in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province, a middle-sized city in Yangtze river delta, about 350 km west of Shanghai and 800 km south of Beijing.
